Crooks & Liars falls for anti-Cain hoax.

How dumb do you have to be to think for 2 seconds that was an official Herman Cain webpage?

I have had problems with people impersonating me on Facebook and in comments on a prominent lefty site. When I objected I was mocked because supposedly everyone knows when it's a joke. But obviously, that is not so.

It's really easy to believe things you want to believe. They want to believe they are smart, and Herman Cain is stupid.

Well, they are Lefties, after all.

Big tip:

Crooks & Liars. Get it?

To be fair, Cain has run the kind of anti-establishment campaign in which something like "Just to be clear, she's the one on the left" seems like something to expect. Responding to her allegations with a healthy dose of acidic humor totally fits the "take a drag off a cigarette and blow it into the audience's face" narrative he's been crafting over the last few months.

Of the picture of Kraushaar on that page...who stands like that?

That looked like Mark was being Mark again.

The Cain Campaign is like the Academy Awards Show. You never know what they will do or say next. So you stay tuned.

Which looks like good Marketing to me.

The video in the Erzatz Cain Website was,"It's Judy's Turn to Cry."

That cracks me up.

Did Ritmo put this thing together?

They also think they're smart and sharp when they produce a mock ad in which Mike Tyson impersonates Cain.

A man sees what they want to see and disregards the rest.

Yeah, someone posted that the other day and I just assumed it was a joke.

All the 8 current condendahs make poor choices to be a nominee.

He's kept on board to HURT the GOP label.

So, go ahead. Keep him. Lots of people who won't vote for anyone with the GOP label certainly don't care.

And, if you pick another McCain?

You'll learn how votes divide. And, how McCain only got 47% in 2008.

Maybe, the next candidate will get less? Won't change how the religious right picks candidates.

@Irene It's not at that link anymore. It's here.

Althouse, thanks. That was fast!

I also see it no longer works on the many Facebook posts linking to it. Ha ha.

I was going to sarcastically respond with "yea, but it could have been true!"

Kinda like coketown without the sarcasm-

EXACTLY!! These are the famed 'creative' class people on the left who voted for Obama. When I saw the site in question on memeorandum and went there, it took me a nanosecond to see it was fake and these people wrote posts about it as if it were real.

Does that mean Kraushaar's statement that Cain was a monster is fake too?

Oh. Wait.
