"The People’s Bratfest was designed to be an alternative to the World’s Largest Brat Fest, but it was not meant to be an anti-Johnsonville event..."

Inane Madison politics rages on, in the form of a sausage.

Must even the great bratwurst become a political prop? Dammit.

Will Anthony "Perv" Wiener be judging via Twitter?

Hi! Where can I talk with miss Althouse about some blogging stuff?

Breakfast sausage is indistinguishable from a hot dog.

I found that out on Eastern Airlines out of Miami in 1973.

Maybe we should just nuke Madison.

Get rid of the brats!

Devise a special neutron bomb to rid us of the vegetarians.

Clearly intellectually inert.

I hope there is a grill just for vegetarians.

That is the best place for vegetarians.

I went to three different bratfests, this weekend. Guess that makes me pro-brat and help spread my charitable giving a little further. It's all good.

Yes Madison sucks. Stay away. Parking is already next to impossible.

Johnsonville brats really are superior. Just tried them this Spring. The "Smoked Brats" are my favorite, with the "Beddah Cheddah" ones being a close second. Perfect texture and cook evenly on the grill. Can't go wrong.

Normalcy is a great alternative to Madison.

I've had two brats, so far, this weekend at bratfest. It's looking more and more like Edgefest used to look like, but with bratwurst and less religion.

Klements have always been much better anyway. Johnsonville has those rock hard little bits of..... God knows what in them. Probably bits of snout or hooves.

The Boca soy brats are pretty good. Just don't overnuke them.

Also the Morningstar soy bacon strips, again if not overnuked.

Something really bad happens to overnuked soy.

Sucks brat.

Speaking of things that suck...hasn't it been five working days? Is Kloppenburg suing or not?

I'm not plugged in like you guys and my mother (who lives in Madison) has no idea.

No link for this story on sausage?

That's funny in a few different ways.

chickelit said...

chuckb hits a double entendre!--a triple if you consider that "link" means left in German.

Well played sir! Bases are loaded.

If it's "The People’s Bratfest", you can bet it's a Commie event.

(will there be purges afterward?)

What's so special about a sausage party? You'll find one in every nightclub and singles bar.

Austerity! They told me if I voted for Walker people would starve. And they were right!

"At the Wurst Times festival at the High Noon Saloon, Brink Lounge and Brass Ring, on East Washington Avenue, organizer Rodney Knoke wasn’t ready to think about next year just yet. That event ran out of the 1,400 brats donated by Sheboygan Bratwurst Co. by 3 p.m. and beer donated by Minhas Brewery was gone by 4 p.m."

I will make a point of buying Johnsonville next time I have a chance. They cost a little more down here in SC.

One of the worst traits of the left is the need to politicize everything. Would you want to be neighbors with such people?

"She protests regularly because she believes Walker and his forces are “trying to create a subservient working class.”"

Are people really this stupid or is this a signaling ritual where they don't pay attention to the content?

Meade's buddy Arthur was quotable at the People's Brat event.

“You can exercise for free and pay to eat the sugar,” said Arthur Kohl-Riggs, a volunteer who operated the cotton candy booth.

Keep your day job kid.

"Edward Kuharski, an architect whose philosophy for the day was “Less bombs, more brats,” said he advocated a “free range, organic federal budget,”

What the f*ck does that mean? I bet Ed doesn't even know, but that wouldn't stop lefties from saying "Right on man!"
