"This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I've ever seen..."

... and what role has Bill Clinton taken on in the big fairy tale?

Look out, Barack Obama! Don't take the apple! It's poison!

"I owe, I owe...it's off to work I'd go"

Will he stare into the well and sing "I'm Wishing"?

We are presently leaderless.

I suppose that depends on what the meaning of "fairy" is.

And you thought Bill Clinton was above calling Barack Obama a faggot?

We are thankfully leaderless.

No. That is not good.

"No. That is not good."

What leadership could Barack Obama possibly offer that would not make this bad situation even worse?

The last fucking thing we need right now is for Barack Obama to attempt to lead us somewhere.

(Not that anyone would follow ... I'm just sayin'.)

Yes, Obama's campaign was a fairy tale.

Earnest liberals like Althouse, David Books and Peggy Noonan all felt the magic.

Sadly, the 9+ million people who have lost their jobs, haven't.

"We are presently leaderless."

And not for nothing but just because nobody is following Barack Obama doesn't mean we are leaderless.

It just means we're not following his lead.

I think that's healthy for the nation. Some Americans are finally maturing enough to start to realize that sometimes leaders lead people right over a fucking cliff.

And that we have to choose our leaders wisely.

We have not chosen wisely, and thus, are seeing our hens come home to roost.

This is more like one of those fairy tails where people learn the value of salt. There's something very basic missing from our President.

Perhaps it's like "The Emperor's New Clothes" with Rush Limbaugh playing the part of the kid who wont play along with the illusion. We're at the part where everybody is starting to laugh.

There is nothing there to be now missing. Never was.

Your imbedded 50 second video begins at 38 seconds.

At the time he said this it was misrepresented by many (including Sen Clyburn) as a racist critique of Obama's presidential run, but he was actually talking about Obama's repositioning regarding his Iraq war stance.

It was Joe Biden who actually called the Obama run "a fairy tale" or more precisely: "a fairy tale, man". Citing Obama's cleanness, his good looks and powers of articulation.

Fairy tales are nightmares read to children. And this one started with Willie, not Dubya.

PS I love the Gray Lady mentioning Willie's "occasionally wagging finger". If he says, "Ah did not have sex with that TOTUS", it's time to look up Kenneth Starr.

Sotto voce: Fuck the president.

Bill Clinton: Me?

Duty. True leaders have a sense of it.

There's something very basic missing from our President.

A sense that he is there to our bidding, rather than the other way around.

Oh, give it a rest, Ann. Obama will implode or has already, with or without Bill Clinton next to him. Bill Clinton is NOT the problem here, Obama is.

Obama is in over his head. Who asked him to cheat (caucuses), steal (FL + MI + SC..) and lie (infinite) to get the nomination when he could not measure up? Many of us saw this and put up a good fight (for the health of our democracy and for the qualified candidate) during the primary unlike you who voted for this charlatan. The real election of 2008 was the Democratic primary and you and people like you failed in your votes, repeat that a 100 times. The skulduggery that went on with the media, the DNC and some of the superdelegates was so undemocratic and learned people like you never said a word (all because you didn't like the woman and fell in love with a half-black charlatan).

Thanks for the second video.

I was wondering what Helen Thomas was up to since leaving the White House press corps.
