"3 dogs."

What's that, the NBC late-night TV line-up?

Are you still talking about that in two back-to-back posts?

Yup, Austinites love their dogs. Anne, you keep picking up on those quintessentially Austinite things, it's great. Especially the "Keep Austin weird" "78704: Not so much a zipcode more a way of life" vibes.

But so far no pix of Barton Springs!

Everyone very well behaved (dogs, that is). Any Yorkies there and they'd be trying to pick fights with the Great Danes (and the GDs would stand there with a look like, "Hey, talkin' french fry").

WV "suaticru" The men manning a suati.

Perhaps Ann and Meade should buy a trailer (preferably a classic Airstream) and just tour the country continually. Ann gets all kinds of interesting posts when she goes on road trips.

I think dogs may be mankind's greatest accomplishment.

I don't know, is there any mention of them in the bible?

bagoh20, I was flipping channels after brousing Watchmen, and World Without People was on. They suggested that Carlinian Sheepdogs would continue to watch their flocks generation after generation without human intervention. I doubt that would happen, but it was a nice thought.

The scene of the skinny dude in the bottom picture is costing his parents about $30k a year. They must be proud.

bagoh20, Mohammed thought dogs dirty (just above pigs in filth) but once cut his sleave off so as not to wake a sleeping cat.

Could that be the problem with Islam and the West, cats vs. dogs?

I like the bottom photo, it looks like a shot right out of the movie Slacker, filmed in Austin.
