That journalistic encounter in Italy.

"[E]arlier in the week at the Venice festival, an Italian journalist stripped to his skivvies, declared himself gay and begged a clearly ticked-off [George] Clooney for a kiss. Ewan McGregor, who co-stars in Goats, told USA TODAY earlier in the day,'It was a waste of everyone's time, really. When you have these big press conferences ,the trouble is, that’s it. You get the half an hour, 45 minutes, and for a lot of journalists, that is it. I don’t know what his deal was. Later on, he was following him around in a boat. I saw him later." Perhaps he was inspired by Borat's stalking of Pam Anderson.'"

I did that once for a '68 Camaro. I don't recall if Clooney was anywhere nearby...

George Clooney has excellent teeth. I don’t know much about Ewan McGregor, but I’d suspect his are quite good, at the very least.

If only Rep. Joe Wilson took that as his inspiration!

George Clooney is the gentleman who announced that he was glad that Charlton Heston had Alzheimer's.

This journalistic encounter couldn't have happened to a classier gentleman.

All I'd do differently would be to wear kneepads and bright cherry red lipstick. heh heh heh

George handled it in a classy way. I hadn't heard about the continued stalking. I hope George gets a restraining order against this pervy jerk.

Just proves once again that gay men think that straight men are just one good gay blow job away from being gay...just give me the chance.

Gay wishful thinking.

"It was a waste of everyone's time." Isn't that the standard definition of the last ten Ewan MacGregor movies? You're really going meta when you waste people's time at a George Clooney press conference.

Man, that's a badly written quote. Talk about a waste of time.

Still, I want to see Goats: it's a story of NewAge nonsense I read about a long time ago. Really sad and pathetic.

Gay Italian paparazzi? This is original?

Hey, where has Titus been lately? Could it be? Naw, Titus would have been far more entertaining in his stalking of Clooney.

Matt Damon is telling a funny story about how he started this in motion by punking Clooney when a reporter who could barely speak English started a conversation with him.

Go Matt go.

Clooney and McGregor are obviously homophobes.

They should be banned from Hollywood forever.

"...just give me the chance."

Do lesbians frequently have to deal with the mirror-image delusion from straight men? (Just asking, no idea.)

Like the fossil record that lies in sedimentary rock twenty feet below the surface of the Earth, there is evidence to be found on the internet of mad, twisted genius that springs forth from the minds of otherwise ordinary men and women. Link.

wv = bionio. When I kept tropical fish, I think I might have had a couple dozen of those.

Modern Life: Clooney and a looney make important news.

We're so close to a cure, and this guy has to come along and waste everyone's time. These moments can never be replaced.

George is infamous for pranking, so I have to wonder if he wasn't being punked.
