Is there a broad consensus for the opinion that this is an evil flower? Should said flower wait until evolving standards allow for it to be removed from the list of plants supporting botanical evil?

Thistles, esp the webby milk thistles like this, are hip right now in some circles.

Excellent habitat plants for butterfly larvae and hummingbirds.
