After all of this politics...

... don't you feel you need a bath?

UPDATE: I'm back. Not from a bath. From a long bike ride. Over 20 miles. Glad to see the Badgers crushed Minnesota.

No more Dirty Birds now. Therefore we declare a Truce Day on politics. Is Wisconsin playing at home today? Sadly I abandoned my Braves at midnight and the miracle of their late comeback stared at me this morning. Not one interview , even in San Fran, mentioned a witch, a whore or a Nazi player...although Bobby Cox did say a certain blind Umpire should be taken outside and shot like the SS loved to do.

Just seconds ago, there was a vile little attack ad from the Senate race here in Colorado ...

Ann, it is hard to take you seriously when you where so quick to follow Andrew Breitbart's lead and trash Shirley Sherrod who was just an obscure mid-level Federal government employee.

Don't pretend now that you are above it all.

Also Ann it is hard to take you seriously here given that your blog idolizes Rush Limbaugh.

Located the humorous DCSS Pat Toomey "maybe he ought to run for Senate...in China" ad.

Makes me laugh.

Dirty birds? That reminds me of a song!

The Tennessee Birdwalk!

Georgia is ahead 17 to 0 against Tennessee at Sanford Stadium. A J Green (from S C , but not the Dem's senate candidate)has shown why he will be a top 5 draft choice in the NFL.

You call that a bird bath?

RH Harkin what a real birdbath is for cyring out loud!

So sweet.

Who was making what in the microwave?

If the Republicans would just stop saying "NO!" to everything, we could provide that bird with a decent birdbath and it wouldn't have to wash itself in a backyard mudhole. (Imagine, in a wealthy country like this we can't even provide decent birdbaths.)

I do need a bath, but not in a mud puddle.

Your video reminded me of Chevy Chase and Bill Murray in Caddyshack, where Murray asks if he can bath in Chevy's pool and Chevy suggests Murray should bath in his pond.

Man, that is one fat bird. Where are Michelle and Bloomberg when you need them.

That's more like it; you need to get out and take a look at what's really important. This will make you feel better.

Depends on who gets to scrub your back.

PS I thought it would be "After all of the politics...".

"This politics" just sounds a little odd.

re: bath-taking, how many federal laws are there, I wonder, and shouldn't all laws have expiration dates forcing a re-evalution and an ultimate cleaning and update of laws on the books?

Plus re-examination would divert and limit mischief time available for creating and passing new legislation.

I would consider that time well spent.

Lucianna Paluzzi in Thunderball.

You call that hard?

traditionalguy said...

Lemongdog...Think that on through. All laws are now changeable whether they need it or not. That is a trick to get the same special interests to donate again for the same favors. The banks play that game "rolling over" the same loan for a big new origination fee. The corrupt Congress should not be the only money making part of the government.

Jake, its just hard to take you seriously at all.

I wish the bad bloggers would not exist. They really ruin it for me in my consulting job. I sometimes have to work harder as my clients take the bad bloggers more seriously than someone like me.

Oh well....I wish people were not cruel to one another.

Oh, this is a great video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUWMSVDPdGQ

"You call that hard?'

Well, now you need the bath, I'd guess.

PS Noticed there was a little sunshower in the video. Weather says it will rain here Monday. Nice to see my weather lady (woman, etc.) is ahead of things

We were at the game and I'm liking the outcome, too. As for "Stars and Stripes" at halftime, let me just say that it got a way bigger response from the crowd that "Aquarius".

And considering that at this time of year it could have been snowing, I'm totally ok with the little bit of sunburn I got toady, too.

The dirtiest thing I've heard lately is the penis cellphone pics that former Jets QB Brett Favre allegedly sent famous bim I mean Jets "gameday host" Jenn Sterger two years ago.

That much distance cycling for 6+ months often over strengthens the lower back muscles, which in turn makes a normal walking posture difficult. Massages and mixing in a regular walk can help, but once it happens the only real cure is no bicycling for a month.

Trooper York said...

Former Jets QB?

He is a Packer man. The Jets were just a pit stop.

Trooper York said...

Don't dis Garage Mahal's favorite player like that.

Trooper York said...

But I will admit that Brett is kind of weird.

Did you know he used to dress his penis up like a WW2 Nazi SS officer and send photo's of it to
that Rachel chick from Glee?

Brett Favre has a re-enactor penis? Who woulda known?

Brett Favre is kind of a quarterback re-enactor himself.

The Jets were just a pit stop.

A special time and place where he felt confident sharing views of "Little Farve" with co-workers in their early 20s?

Before I played that, I thought it was going to be another clip about the oil slick in the Gulf.

Thanks.

South Carolina just knocked off No. 1 Alabama 35-21, as I type this

I saw an article over on the Telegraph web site titled "Ballerina sacked for posing nude" (in the Austrian men's magazine Wiener, of all places!).

"Big deal!" I thought. "Brett Favre posed nude and he gets sacked a couple of times a week!" Well, technically it was "sexting," but that's posing nude, just with a smaller audience.

Trooper York said...

Everything about it was smaller.

Allegdedly.

BTW, Ann, you have spent a lot of this year insulting Democrats for saying the Citizens United decision would open the floodgates for corporate money into campaigns.

Now, we see that's exactly what happened. No, the money did not flow into candidate campaign funds (and that was never the point).

So, will you admit your error now?
