White House attacked...

... by bees.

I've heard about it. And now it's real: insect politics.
"Have you ever heard of insect politics? Neither have I! Insects don't have politics.... they're very brutal. No compassion.... no compromise. We can't trust the insect. I'd like to become the first insect politician. I'd like to, but.... I'm an insect.... who dreamed he was a man, and loved it. But now the dream is over, and the insect is awake."

Maybe they're not bees at all, but WASPS!

The Dude said...

WASPs are almost extinct in this country. Their niche has been filled by multiculties.

AlgonquinS said...

That should be WASPs. Lower case s. I was too caught up in the moment.

Perhaps Joe Biden said "candyman" five times.

Your link is dead.

We've had bees in our backyard every spring for the last 8 years or so since I've lived here in SoCal. But this year, nada. Perhaps they've been rounded up for a stealth attack on the WH.

It's really quite simple. These are the same bees from Mexico that I mentioned in a comment the other day. They're attacking an African American in the White House because they're incensed about the cartoon showing African bees in blackface with afro hairdos carrying spears and shields.

.....forgot to mention that the license plates on my yellow convertible with a black top and interior read "AVISPA"

It's a Tex-Mex thing.

Which thread Richard? I missed that!

Bees have historically been smart enough to see to the survival of their hive. When attacked they would swarm out and attack their attackers. The weakness of the bees defenses today comes from smoke being blown into their eyes, like putting them into a shut down of real news, while at the same time their Honey Supply is being stolen by the new smoke blowers. There is also a rumored attempt to ban their right to bear stingers proposed by those same smoke blowers. When will the bees awaken and use their stingers to protect their hive again?

This is a coincidence. My house has been attacked by Asian Lady Beetles.

Oh, too bad about the insect politics clip. I've taken out the dead video and just linked to the trailer of the movie.

Is it just on my computer or have you gone mad about italics?

Peter V. Bella said...

I like the fact that the Secret Service is warning parasites(reporters) about bees.

Blessed are the beekeepers.

Ann Althouse said...

Oops. I had an open italics tag. Thanks for the heads-up.

Do bees drink beer?

Sounds like Michelle's bees escaped their White House bubble...and landed right next to the media! I smell a conspiracy here.

Christy said...

Dang! I want to know what kind of bush. Were they from Michelle's hive, or does she have it in already? Mrs. Obama does realize that her garden bees will travel to the nearest nectar source without regard to the sectors of the White House lawn, doesn't she? That's the thing about the most enthusiastic environmentalists I've known, they never foresee the consequences, so sure are they that Gaia will recognise their moral superiority and change her nature.

We all know that bees are free marketers and they are making a statement

Warning: House Got Bees In It.

Brandts was reportedly able to get the queen bee in the cardboard box and many, though not all, of the other bees followed.

Come to think of it, this is why liberals attack Althouse!

They try to put her in a box so that "many, though not all," of her reader/commenters will follow.

Buzzz.

For pity's sake, did you all see the comments on CNN's site? Three people at least (when I looked) were floating a theory that it was prep for an attack on the White House... by republicans/right-wingers.
Of all the ridiculous crap.

chickenlittle, it was in the "Turkish anchor wears blackface" thread.

I had to fact-check a review of a chilling book called SIX-LEGGED SOLDIERS: Using Insects as Weapons of War. Here's our review (scroll down more than halfway). (Disclaimer: I am not responsible for copy editing mistakes on the website!!) Here's an excerpt, and here's another.
